Spiritual Formation
The church exists to help you experience the
unconditional grace of God, and to help you experience a
wonderfully abundant Christian life with God and grow
spiritually — to meet and know God, to come to a relationship
with Christ and then go deeper in that relationship, and to be
renewed and transformed!
As Christians we want to become more and more
like Christ, more and more who God created and calls us to be.
Spiritual formation is this ongoing, life-long process of
growing into Christlikeness by deepening our relationship with
God through Jesus Christ.
We are more likely to grow spiritually, and to
experience the abundant life promised to us by Jesus Christ
(Romans 10:10), when we engage in spiritual practices:
-
Attend worship on a regular basis…
-
Pray on a regular basis; spend time with God
in a daily devotional practice, so that we can come to know
God…
-
Study the Bible and other Christian
writings, so that we can come to know more about God…
-
Engage in deep, personal conversation with
other Christian friends about what’s going on in our lives
and how we’re seeing God at work in our lives, applying
Biblical truth to life and relationships…
-
Serve God and others within and beyond the
walls of the church, using our God-given spiritual gifts…

We’d love to connect you with a share group! An awesome
way to connect with others, share groups are made up of 3-7
people (all women or all men), and they generally meet once a
week for 1-2 hours. There is time for talking about your joys
and concerns, ways you’ve found God, and ways you’ve not done
well on your spiritual walk this week. This is a great way to
make some deep connections and to support and be supported by
other Christians. Sign up on the insert in church or
