People who have completed at least the foundational classes as well as the Membership Class may feel called to move into leadership and the lay pastor role:

Lay Pastor - (for those ready for the deepest level of commitment and responsibility) Those who have completed at least the 4 foundational classes, and who have signed the Discipleship Covenant may choose to take the Lay Pastor class and become a lay pastor. The Lay Pastor Covenant is a covenant signed in addition to the Discipleship Covenant, in which a person commits to be in leadership in at least one of three ways: small group leader, ministry leader, or mission leader. A lay pastor also commits to attending monthly lay pastor/team leader meetings, and to being a pastoral presence on Sunday mornings.
